lyrics

Behold, existence
For we strive for liberation,
And reach out in defiance,
To embrace perfection

In reverence bestowed,
This crown of gloaming stars,
A coronation blessed,
In shadowless halls
The dreaming prophet speaks,
Forsaken flesh decays,
Exalted with their gaze,
Premonitions yet ‘divine’

The silent stare awe-struck,
Ravished and torn away,
Await the glorious,
To open all hearts and minds
Told once by the shrewd,
Cling to a furtive faith,
For tommorrow's dawn,
Draws closer with each breath

Dreams unfold the sky,
For the old ones will die,
Dreams unfold the rain,
For we wrought the pain,

They say the leaves danced,
(As if) possessed and entranced,
A thirst no tear could quench,
Calls upon the setting sun
To search for (new) purity,
Through suffering redeemed,
A second heaven awaits,
Just beyond the stars and mist

Behold, existence
For we strive for liberation,
And reach out in defiance,
To embrace perfection

A glare that shatters skies,
Autumnal coming blaze,
Stares from the abyss,
Reaching to grasp the soul

Feeble hands outstretched,
To eclipse the pain,
Until the glory comes,
Like shutters concealing dawn

A veil rose upon the wind,
Dancing with the fallen leaves,
The flames reach for the sky,
As the churning void recoilS

The crystal sky now clear,
The veil tattered and torn,
Upon its fabric sewn,
The visage and essence of perfection

Screams told the lie,
In a final ‘goodbye’,
And buried all the sane,
And with them life’s bane

Tangled in our dreams,
An unknown midnight hour,
The toll of distant bells
Beckons to us from within

Expanding inside us,
(As) witness to greater death,
Our deluge preys down,
Drowning all in silence

Divine right bestowed,
We reach out for the stars,
To grasp a setting sun,
And burrow in its warmth

To those defiant few,
Upon whom light does not shine,
Await this coming dirge,
For it reflects your worth
